Here you can find answers to your questions. These questions are to help you to understand what to expect when you arrive at Loch Arbor. They will also make your visit more comfortable. Feel free to contact the church office with any other questions you may have:
- Where is Guest Parking?
- Guest parking can be found in the large parking lot on the south side of the church next to the sanctuary entrance. There is also handicap parking in the larger parking lot on the south side next to the education building/ office entrance and fellowship hall.
- What is there for my kids?
- The children's class includes nursery, pre-k, and kids to the age of 12. The class is volunteer lead, and teaching is provided through age-appropriate bible study and activities. There is also children's church during worship service for ages up to age 7. There are appropriate age classes on Sunday mornings at 9:45 and Sunday evenings at 5:45.
- How do I join the church?
- We believe that being a member of the church is more than attending on Sunday mornings and having your name on a roll. Being a member is a commitment to share, serve, love, give, and attend faithfully. There are three ways that you can join the church: Salvation and baptism, moving of church letter, and statement of faith. We welcome you to speak to any of Loch Arbor leadership if you have questions about joining.
- How do I join a group/ Sunday School class?
- You are invited to be involved in more than Sunday morning services. You may call these classes Life groups or Sunday school, but this is a place where you can get involved and grow with people in a small group. These groups help you as you walk through life's great joys and deepest heartaches. Please feel free to speak with Loch Arbor's leadership to find a class that fits your needs.
- What do I wear?
- We have people who dress in jeans and t-shirts and others who wear suits and dresses. We ask that you come in whatever makes you comfortable.
- How can I volunteer in a ministry?
- We believe that if you love Jesus, then you will serve Him with all of your heart. We have opportunities to serve in the church, community, state, and international ministries. If you feel the call to volunteer in any part of church life, please see Loch Arbor's leadership.
- What denomination is the church affiliated with?
- Loch Arbor Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Louisiana Baptist Convention, and the Northeast Louisiana Baptist Convention. A portion of our giving goes to these conventions in order to further God's work in the community, state, national, and international arenas.
